[Geoserver-users] Geoserver 2.8.1 Log file is empty

Hi,

We have recently upgraded to Geoserver 2.8.1 and we have changed the default Geoserver directory to another location.

The new directory (GSF) is owned by the user tomcat and group tomcat. The file GSF/logs/geoserver.log is always empty and we are not sure where the logs are maintained and how to fix this issue of empty log file.

Any help is appreciated.
