thanks Thomas and Andrea. I'm just upgrading an old web
application that uses postgres, postgis, pgdijkstra 
and mapserver.
I'm still using postgres and postgis but instead of mapserver I'm using
geoserver and mapbuilder. I wanted to know if geoserver was able to do
more. I also had a look to geotools before sending my request but I
thougth that before strat coding in java (it's not a problem) it was
better to ask for advice.
And you give me advice I needed so now I'm coming back to pgdjikstra
(thanks for implementation details) and postgis. I only should
understand how to trigger the computation from my web app.
