Hello all,
New to GeoServer, but installed it on my Windows Server 2008 R2 using the exe with IIS and got it up and running without any problems until I started to look at the open layer sample files. By default JRE 7 was installed and all I was heating was the default map window with no graphics. I did a little reading and found that the JRE 7 should be replaced with JRE 6. I replaced it with JRK 6.0_37 and was able to access the sample using the interface from localhost/geoserver/ and also www.geoiddata.com/geoserver/ from the browser on my server. The local host works correctly when I access the samples including the data table when you on a graphic. When I acces through the web URL I get the window with the graphics, but clicking on a graphic does not display the graphic. If I try to access the samples from a remote machine I just get a blank frame. I’m clueless of what the problem might be. I have tried with Chrome, IE Safari and Foxfire with the same results?
