Hi everybody,
. I'm serving out vector based maps via WMS in Geoserver 1.6.0-RC2 to an OpenLayers front-end and everything is going fine. I'm tiling my requests to the geoserver, since I've found that it boost performance. My problem is that I recently noticed some strange clipping going on when polygons spread out across two tiles(see attachments, I've highlighted the problem in one attachment, the brown polys are oultines of houses and the green polys are property boundaries).
The clipping occurs along the edges of the tiles, so that it seems when a tile, which only has a small part of a polygon on it, is loaded, that part of the polygon isn't shown. This does in no way apply to all polygons as can clearly be seen in the attachments. I'm simply at a loss about how to resolve this.
You guys have any ideas?
Kind regards from Iceland,
Gissur

Hum, first suggestion is to try out RC3, not sure if it helps, but worth
a try. Otherwise, can you share with us the OL client, buildings data layer and style so that I can try to reproduce your issue?
And oh, what datastore are you using?
Cheers
