Hello,
We need to build a server which uses geoserver to stream vector and raster data though the Internet. The data will be for example raster images (probably size of 4gb each) and maximum size of 50gb and possibly a much larger increase in the future (maybe even up to 1tb).
What is the best suggestion on the operating system geoserver should run on? Linux, Windows Server 2003, etc?
What is a good configuration for the server? Any limitations that geoserver could have?
I am new to this, so I am asking for advice from people with more experience on the subject.
Thank you in advance.
