[Geoserver-users] [Geoserver-devel] 1.6.0: WMS Layer Group bug

Diego Guidi ha scritto:

I'm using the brand new 1.6.0 version of geoserver as WMS server, and
when I try to create a layer group for my bunch of layers, something
strange appears...
My layers have a EPSG:32632 (UTM 32N), so when I insert this code into
the group and press "generate" to create my bounding box, the box
values are generated and looks correct, but the code is changed to
EPSG:4326 (the default value).
But the very strange thing is that the code 32632 is inserted in
another layer group!
And finally, when i try to save the config a IndexOutOfBoundsException appears.
I'm trying to open an issue on Jira, but the website looks down at
this time (http:geoserver.org)… any suggestion for my problem?

A couple:
* don't write mails requesting for user help of the geoserver-devel
unless requested to, this ml is for developers to discuss development
issues, not to provide user support
* thanks for reporting geoserver.org being down, contacted the
admin, but we'll have to wait he wakes up (USA)
* for them moment access jira directly,
   http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS
* can I have a couple of sample layers to try that out? Italian data
are hard to find (can you send them to me by private mail or, if you
can share them publicly, attach them to the jira issue)

Cheers
Andrea

Sorry about that, I've think that this was the correct list because of
a bug that maybe I've found.

No problem. Think about this: it's hard for most users to tell apart
a real bug from a configuration, JVM or a data issue
If everybody thinking they spot a bug would send mails to the devel
list we'd probably end up with everyone on the devel list
