[Geoserver-users] Geoserver GWC WMTS

Hi,

We have also one gridset that is in Gauss-Krüger projection (EPSG:2393) and I guess I can see the same problem than you with EPSG:2169 which is also Gauss-Krüger.

The extents of our gridset taken from the Edit gridset page are

MinX 3 050 187.8969

MinY 6 585 228.0377

MaxX 3 761 549.0272

MaxY 7 803 095.3519

The WMTS 1.0.0 GetCapabilities shows:

ows:IdentifierEPSG:2393:0</ows:Identifier>

7314285.714285715

3050187.8969 8158092.0

The TopLeftCorner is given in Easting-Northing axis order but because EPSG:2393 is Gauss-Krüger system the TopLeftCorner should probably be following the official order which is Northing-Easting. This may be a bug in GeoWebCache but WMTS 1.0.0 standard is not especially clear with this.

I can get our WMTS visible into QGIS by checking the “Ignore axis orientation (WMS 1.3/WMTS)” option in the Connection details.

Hi,

1.in Tile Caching of GeoServer I create firstly a new gridset for EPSG 2169 for Luxemburg with the Zomme Lavels 1-10 the Gridset bounds are Compute from maximum extent of CRS.
Inline-Bild 1

2.I configure the Caching Defaults with the Gridset of ESPG 2169
Inline-Bild 2

3.then I create the Tile Layers for the Zomme Leverls 0-6
Inline-Bild 3

After that I add the WMTS of GWC to qgis

URL= http://localhost:8080/geoserver/gwc/service/wmts the data still not there

Thank you!

Hi,

We should get a bit more information. How do you know that axis orientation is wrong? Have you problems with some client? Can you name it? What is the result and what do you expect it to be? Could you write all the steps which are needed for reproducing your problem? I suggest to use some shapefile from OpenStreetMap extract http://download.geofabrik.de/europe/luxembourg-latest.shp.zip as a test data.
