[Geoserver-users] Geoserver layers are not saved no error

Hi,

No layers are saved when adding new. PostGis or Oracle no errors are generated. I can select the tables for publishing but when I hit the save button nothing happens… What can it be?

In the geoserver log the following:

could it be some incompatibility of the GeoServer UI with your browser? Could you try to do the same thing using a different one?

An official list of compatible browser does not exist, but in the past I experienced your same symptoms (buttons, links not doing anything) and it was a matter of browser / wicket incompatibilities. Wicket is the library used to develop the GeoServer UI. These type of issues have been resolved by newer GeoServer versions when reported. Which version of GeoServer are you using and which browser is giving you problems?

An official list of compatible browser does not exist, but in the past I experienced your same symptoms (buttons, links not doing anything) and it was a matter of browser / wicket incompatibilities. Wicket is the library used to develop the GeoServer UI. These type of issues have been resolved by newer GeoServer versions when reported. An official list of compatible browser does not exist, but in the past I experienced your same symptoms (buttons, links not doing anything) and it was a matter of browser / wicket incompatibilities. Wicket is the library used to develop the GeoServer UI. These type of issues have been resolved by newer GeoServer versions when reported. Which version of GeoServer are you using and which browser is giving you problems?
