[Geoserver-users] Geoserver online resource set as localhost - how can I change it?

Hi

I was having a look at my Geoserver WMS capabilities file and noticed that my GetCapabilities Online Resource is set as ‘localhost’ rather than my external URL address – where am I able to change this? Is this done in the Admin interface or would I need to configure a file elsewhere?

Thanks, Chris

You need to set the proxy base url on the global settings page - http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/configuration/globalsettings.html#proxy-base-url

Chris and Ian,

Pelase note that the geowebcache url in the geoserver user interface is
bugged and still points to '127.0.0.1:8080' (localhost) even if you set
proxy base url correctly. The service works fine, but the page links to
the wrong address.

See

Best,
Daniel
