I recently installed the PostGIS to use it with Geoserver, the project that uses the PostGIS needs the GEOM extension. So I installed the GEOM and rebuilt the PostGIS, now I am getting the following error:
the Geoserver and PostGIS is running in Linux.

This seems to be an issue with your postgis install. The error indicates to me that the geos shared library is no the library path. Are you able to log into postgis via command line and execute any of the geos functions?
