[Geoserver-users] Geoserver running under the HTTPS error

Dear Geoserver,

I would like to use the Geoserver to store and publish some of the
spatial data that we have. The Geoserver 2.7 has been installed on the
HTTPS server, everything seems going well, excepted the preview layer
with the Openlayer. Map layer is not visualized on the Openlayer, blank
map is appeared on the openlayer map.

There are some errors found in console box as you can see in the
attached file.
I believe that the error is related to request the
http://geoserver.opendevelopmentmekong.net/geoserver/openlayers3/ol.js
and ol.css. However, I can't find any file and include the two scripts.

Please advise how to fix this error and how to make Geoserver run
smoothly over the HTTPS.

Note: Jetty is used as webserver.

Hi,

the geoserver needs to know the his external URL while generating the preview page. I think you should set the "Proxy Base URL" under "Settings > global" to https://geoserver.opendevelopmentmekong.net/geoserver

This is the way I fixed this issue for me.
