Dear users,
I’ve established a data publication workflow where data providers publish image datasets circa 3 times per month. Each dataset gets published as separate GeoTIFF store and in addition I set up the ImageMosaic datastore providing the timeSeries for all datasets.
However, each time new dataset arrives to GeoServer (GeoTIFF store is created), the respective ImageMosaic DIR receives the new granule, but it does not create the database entry …
Simply adding a file in the folder isn’t enough. You should also harvest that new dataset in ImageMosaic.
Please, take a look at this section of the Geoserver documentation:
http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/rest/examples/curl.html#uploading-and-modifying-a-image-mosaic
Specifically, the part where it says how to harvest a single file into the mosaic.
thus it does not appear in timeseries layer with its TIME=YYYY-MM-DD.
I checked this tutorial: http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/tutorials/imagemosaic_timeseries/imagemosaic_timeseries.html#generated-property-file
And tried to change the config property value Caching=true since it didn’t work with Caching=false,
Please, keep it back to false.
however still the new dataset does not appear in the series.
Is it possible, or what am doing wrong?
Hope these suggestions can help.
Cheers,
Daniele
Thank you,
Tomas
