[Geoserver-users] Geoserver with complex types

Does anyone know where I can get access to the experimental modules (see below)? Thanks.

Hi,
Is there a way to handle complex GML schema types in Geoserver WFS?
How do I handle XML schemas containing anyType (xsd:any) XML element
or <xsd:choice> type element for example ? Does it provide a way to
map complex WFS feature types to relational or object relational tables?
Pointers to any web links dealing with these issues would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

Released versions of GeoServer only do support simple types. For complex types there actually is an experimental set of modules that do support them, but I'm not able to get into details.

Hi, they are not really modules... it is more a branch of GeoServer. A
user recently queried the list with the same question (i cant seem to
find it in the archive however so i will just paste it inline here).

Hi Arif,
I've updated instructions on how to get the latest community-schema support
running on this page:
<http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOS/Complex+Datastore>

Unfortunately it wont work due to this geotools issue:

I'm sorry about that. Note the community-schemas support in geoserver is
quite
discontinued until sensible funding is thrown up to get it on the core
stream
code base.

Anyway, feel free to try it out if you're willing for a nice debug
session and
keep asking questions on the list.

Best regards,

Please, try changing doble quote by *single quote*

strConcat( strConcat(QS, strConcat('/', RT)), strConcat(strConcat('/', NUMB),
strConcat('/', BSUFF)) )

cheers
