Hey there
Months ago I wrote in this Mailinglist that there are an incorrect
transformation from CH1903/LV03 to WGS84.
What is happened in this case? If there an update of the relevant JAR File?

Hi Thomas,
I think the problem depends more on the librery under Geoserver, which is GeoTools … however, if you can send me a little data sample in this CRS I can see if the problem is there and if so if I can find a way to solve it.
Regards,
Alessio.

Nope, I did not change the wkt because the discussion seemed to be inconclusive on what is a good wkt representation for that CRS (Martin
saying there were no relevant differences between the WKT in the property file and the one you used)...
Geoserver 1.5.0 uses the official EPSG database, so the projection
should be correct.
Mind trying a 1.5.0 snapshot I uploaded for you at
http://geo.openplans.org/aaime/geoserver.war?
If that one works, I can simply fix the wkt with the official EPSG
representation (I am more confident using that one rather than the Postgis one).
Cheers
Andrea
Hi Andrea
I tried your GeoServer 1.5 Web Archive. Unfortunately the transformation
calculate a complete wrong bounding box too!

PS. The geometry is a linestring. There is a wrong style on this picture.
But I tried it with a right style too with same result!

Hi Andrea
Hi Mailinglist
I added a PDF file ( http://www.nabble.com/file/6531/EPSG21781-Vergleich.pdf
EPSG21781-Vergleich.pdf ) with 3 different WKT strings. First one is from
PostGIS, second one from the list (from FeatureType Editor) and third one
from the gt2-epsg-wkt-2.2.2-SNAPSHOT.jar. Red font declare difference
between first and second one, and the yellow label the difference between
first and third one.
Whats wrong here? I don't understand why the second one is so different? The
second wkt must be the same like the thrid wkt string, must not?
I am not an expert in proj4 and so on.
Perhaps you or someone else can help me?
Thank you.
Regards,
Thomas
