I'm sorry for the lame questions. I can't seem to find the download for GeoServer1.5-beta2. I believe it's not on the home page, unless I'm really overlooking it.

That's a very valid question.
It's under our 'Experimental' download section. That is where all our beta downloads go. Once they hit release candidate status then we put them under 'Latest' downloads. Then once they are fully released they go under 'Stable'.
