[Geoserver-users] GeoWebCache TMS TileCache for GeoTiff in EPSG:3857

I have created a data store for a GeoTIFF that is in EPSG:3857 projection. I then publish a layer. All looks good in the open layers preview, asks for EPSG:3857 and the image looks correct.

However I am trying to create a TileCache in that same projection, EPSG:3857. I created a new Gridset for that projection. But when I go to the GWC url to create the TileCache I see this as the bounding box:

EPSG:3857: 0.0,0.0,-1.0,-1.0

When I try and calculate the TileCache nothing of course happens as my image is not over that area. The EPSG:4326 coords are correct. Ideas?

Thanks.

Hello Billy,
are you using the integrated GWC on an external one?

Moreover how you have defined the gridset?

Did you also enabled the layers to be served against the new gridset?

In order to do a quick test, in the case you are using the integrated GWC version, just get the preview URL on 3857 and modify the address with geoserver/gwc/service/wms
something like

http://…/geoserver/gwc/service/wms?LAYERS=osm&SRS=EPSG%3A3857&TILED=true…
