Hi All,
Any tips/tricks for getting GeoWebCache to work with multiple GeoServer instances? For organizational reasons (and for splitting off data services to multiple servers eventually) I have GeoServer running on 8080, 8181, and 8383. I have jetty listening on 8079, 8180 and 8382 respectively. Maybe this is silly, but it sure makes organizing the features and rasters more manageable.

Provided there are no overlapping layer names, you can run the standalone version of GeoWebCache and duplicate the gwcWMSConfig bean in geowebcache-servlet.xml.
If there are overlapping layer names you can still do it, but you have to configure each layer manually in geowebcache.xml
Note that this solution does not let you combine layers from distinct servers in a single image (tile).
