Hi all,
It seems that when I "fixed" the problem with the feature info in the openlayers preview for 1.6.5 i actually introduced the bug to more people. Apologies for the confusion. I will re-open the jira issue and fix soon.
We don't actually have another release of 1.6.x planned but i am happy to put together another build of 1.6.5 for those who are interested. Just let me know.

we might be interested in doing another, final, release for the 1.6 train.
Daniele is backportinga few things with the imagemosaic on that gt branch.
If we decide to backport the raster symbolizer work as well it might
be worth a new release of gt 2.4 and gs 1.6.

Ok, we can definitely do another release if the desire is there. We just got a russian translation for 1.6.x and it would be good to get it into an official point release.
Simone: do you have any ideas of timeline? Would you be looking to release in the short term? Or on the order of weeks/months.
