Hi Stefan,

I believe this is the intended behavior because your style only has a
single rule. If you add another rule to it, you should see the thematic
legend kick in.

If I use some filters than the labes appear. Is this the correct
behaviour or a bug or not a correct sld? (I’m using Geoserver 1.6.3).
