[Geoserver-users] GML-3 geometries

Hi All,

Not sure if this is documented somewhere - which GML-3 geometries are supported in GeoServer?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

All the "simple" geometries:

Point
LineString
Polygon

And each of there "Multi" Counterparts.

Now when we come to curves and surfaces, here is where things get interesting. We do support the encoding and parsing of curves and surfaces, but only those that can be represented by line strings and polygons. Ie, we have no internal representation of a true curve or surface.

Does that make sense?
