Hi All,
If I have a GML schema, is there a tool that will create the corresponding Postgres schema (on which I can then install GeoServer). ogr2ogr ignores the schema, i.e. it only works with the data.
Thanks,
Alex

Not that I know of.

Thanks for your swift reply! I suppose there might not be a free tool for it. Can FME load a GML file and create a new Postgres/gis schema from it?

I am not sure but I would think so, FME kicks butt at these kinds of transformations. Another option would be to code up a custom application that did this in geotools. It would not be too hard if you are a java coder, if so and you want more direction on how to do so just let me know.
