[Geoserver-users] good JVM config form Tomcat 7 + GeoServer 2.5 + ubuntu 14.04

hi all!

I need help in good config for JVM on my server.

Hardware
CPU: 24 core
RAM : 40 GB

Soft: Ubuntu server 14.04, Tomcat 7 (+oracle java), 1.7.0_60

Data: 2334 raster layers (50GB) + (~400 database layer from postgis,)

My current JVM config

Question:
How to increase speed + response time from server.

Can you share yours JVM config files? Or any other Tip to speed up server.

Beyond that, you need to test / tune / test (e.g. with JMeter).

Beyond that, I'd suggest thinking about an upgrade from 2.5
