[Geoserver-users] gs-gwc-distributed-2.10-SNAPSHOT.jar broken?

Hi,

I'm trying unsuccessfully to enable Hazelcast in-memory caching using package downloaded from:

http://ares.boundlessgeo.com/geoserver/2.9.x/community-latest/geoserver-2.9-SNAPSHOT-gwc-distributed-plugin.zip

Jul 25, 2016 1:16:48 PM org.geoserver.platform.GeoServerExtensions extensionNames
WARNING: bean lookup error
org.springframework.beans.factory.CannotLoadBeanClassException: Cannot find class [org.geowebcache.storage.blobstore.memory.distributed.HazelcastCacheProvider] for bean with name 'HazelCastCacheProvider' defined in URL [jar:file:
/opt/apache-tomcat-7.0.69/webapps/geoserver/WEB-INF/lib/gs-gwc-distributed-2.9-SNAPSHOT.jar!/applicationContext.xml]; nested exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.geowebcache.storage.blobstore.memory.distributed.Haze
lcastCacheProvider

I'm afraid that gs-gwc-distributed-2.9-SNAPSHOT.jar is somehow broken.

Cheers

Maciej

Maciej

Thanks for investigating and the bug report.

I've proposed a PR against master, which local testing shows adds the
missing jar.
Hopefully that can get merged and you can test a new nightly build.

Brad

This should now be available for testing in a nightly build.

If you can verify that the module is OK in 2.10-SNAPSHOT, I'll propose the
backport for 2.9.
