[Geoserver-users] Hidden layer

Hello all,

I created a layer in geoserver from a shape file. In the layer preview I can only zoom it out (cannot zoom in). When I load it in a map it is not showing up. It is loaded to the map because I can see the object when inspecting the element (see below).

  1. wms_bmid_parcels: Hz

  2. D: true

  3. Fa: null

  4. K: Array[4]

  5. T: false

  6. U: undefined

  7. W: undefined

  8. X: 1

  9. Y: false

  10. a: 0

  11. b: zh

  12. bb: Gc

  13. c: Array[2]

  14. td: Hz

  15. …….

  16. ……

I wondering if the problem could be related to the fact that I cannot zoom it in and it might be hidden somewhere. All the others layers work well but all of them can be zoomed in infinitely in layer preview.

Any suggestions or comments are very much appreciated.

Wondering if you have issues with the layer CRS and bounding box… can you show them?

I am using EPSG:2955 and the native bounding box computed from data is

-119.419281005859 : 49.8410987854004 : -119.319450378418 : 49.9472923278809

The lat/lat bounding box is

-121.4898335403502 : 0.0004466138618179 : -121.48983264596853 : 0.000447571660573

Another layer that is working well shows:

Native bb

326,419.15625 : 5,524,503.5 : 334,674.9375 : 5,535,526.5

And lat/lon bb

-119.41952771561951 : 49.847790459693925 : -119.29983709853961 : 49.94918788924831
