Hi everyone:
this is the first time I work with MapBuilder and I have one doubt.
In MapBuilder, the Layers marked as 'hidden' still do a GetMap() call. It's possible configure MapBuilder or do some type of modification to avoid that call?
The problem is that I have hundreds of Layers to display, and it would be great to avoid that behaviour.

The release of MapBuilder shipped with Geoserver is quite old (we are
working on getting a newer version out).
As of version 1.5-alpha1 (downloadable from http://communitymapbuilder.org/ )
it is possible to set <noPreload>true</noPreload> on your MapPane to
only load the visible layers.
The problem is that I have hundreds of Layers to display, and it would be
great to avoid that behaviour.
We MapBuilder developers agree wholeheartedly with you.
