[Geoserver-users] How can I configure user name/password in geowebcache.xml for wmslayers?

I am using geoserver 2.2.2 version.
I am using Geowebcache for my wms layer(geoserver 2.2.2).
is it possiable to set unique combination of URL user name/password for each
Geowebcache layer or is it possiable to set single user name/password for
all Geowebcache layers ?

How can I configure user name/password in geowebcache.xml for wmslayers?

For local layers in my won Geoserver,I use Geoserver usename and password.

But for external service layer,How can I set username and password?
