[Geoserver-users] How can i set rules for roles?

How can i set rules for roles from remote php application?

Now i see only one way - directly edit layers.properties file. But dont know how can i get access to this file.

Any advices?

There is no way to modify the file from remote. Maybe you’re interested in contributing a rest api for it?

Hum don’t think there is a guide, but you can have a look at the restconfig module, it already has lots of restlets you can get inspiration from
