[Geoserver-users] How to control ImagePlugin granules drawing order

Hello everyone.

I am using the ImageMosaic plugin with footprint management, using a single Shapefile called footprints.shp which contains all the footprints for each granule; each footprint is associated to a granule with the location attribute. I need to control the order each image draws above the others, because they overlap an have different scales. I need to draw the images in greater detail above. How can i do it?

You need to add an attribute in your shapefile that will be used to control
the order, and then configure the "sortby"
parameter when you setup the layer.
