Is it possible to embed collada objects in the kmz files exported from
GeoServer?
I'm using PostGIS as backend.
(Beware: Being an experienced technician I'm still a newbie to
GIS/WMS/WFS/etc so please explain thourougly)
Hi Peter,
I am not all that familiar with collada, my 10 second search of wikipedia informs me that it is an xml format for doing 3D stuff.
It may be possible to do with this our kml templating system. Can you possibly provide a bit more information about how you want to embeed this markup? Has this been done by anyone else before?

Cool, thanks for the link Tyler. So i dont think the templating engine would allow us to do this. IT would be something we would have to add to the kml output format directly.
Peter: feel free to create a feature request in the bug tracker.
