Hi All,
I’m publishing a GeoTiff image using geoserver.
The background value zeor is appearing black in the output web map.
Is there a way to make the background color to transparent?

Dear Khun San Aung,
which type of GeoTIFF are you publishing? (RGB/Gray/paletted?)
Which GeoServer version are you using?
In general, you could set the InputTransparentColor=000000 in layer’s configuration (In Data tab. scroll down after the BoundingBoxes, in the Coverage Parameters section).
Alternatively, if you are using a color map SLD to color your images, you can set an entry with opacity=0.
Please, let us know if that works for you.

From the Left area of the GUI, select *Layers* link from "Data" list.
Then search for your specific layer from the list of configured layers and
click on that one.
Finally, scroll down the configuration section till Coverage
Parameters subsection
and set InputTransparentColor to 000000.
