[Geoserver-users] http://localhost:8080/geoserver/ not working?

Hello,

I recently just installed Geoserver and I tried to go to the admin page:

http://localhost:8080/geoserver/

But nothing on my screen come up in Firefox, and in IE7 I get a 403 error.
Anyone have any idea why this is not working?

Just a thought, but you did start GeoServer after installing it, didn't you?

I've also found occasional problems accessing a local GeoServer installation
programmatically using "localhost", so you could also try
http://127.0.0.1:8080/geoserver/ and see if that works.
