[Geoserver-users] ImagePyramid - Significant White Stripes on the Edges

Hi All,

We have a huge image of size 50GB and would like to render using geoserver.
We have retiled the image using gdal_retile and then using image pyramid
plugin to publish it to geoserver. The input transperncy is to 0000 and is
published with epsg:4326. The image has become transparent in the areas
where needed but we observe white stripes on all the edges of the image
when rendered. This is same with the small image also.

Below are the steps performed

gdal_retile.bat -v -r bilinear -levels 5 -ps 1024 1024 -co "TILED=YES" -co
"COMPRESS=JPEG" -targetDir bmpyramid iputimage.tif

and pulished in geoserver (2.8.1) using imagepyramid plugin, while publishing
we have set input transparency =0000,screenshot is attached

our problem is after loading the image in QGIS,The boundaries of image is
appearing in white patch attached is the screenshot

Hello,

I have observed that this is happening with the utm projected images. When I have converted this to geographic projection and tiled it, the image appears proper.

Any work round to achieve the same on utm ?

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
