[Geoserver-users] Inline features supported in all browsers?

Hi,

My advance apologies if I am not posting in the correct list.

I currently have a situation as follows. When running my request on FireFox,
I have this line:

            23672 [FINE]
org.vfny.geoserver.util.requests.readers.KvpRequestReader - clean request is

("blah, blah, blah" here, which is my request string)

And my map shows up nicely and correctly.

However, if running the identical request on IE, I do not have the
above-mentioned line. What could be the reason that my request is not being
read in IE? I have seen logs indicating my request being trimmed off in IE
is if it too long, but since I did not even have this line logged in this
case, I suppose the cause is not due to the length of the request. And this
difference between FireFox and IE seems to be happening only when I include
inline features in my SLD.

This brings to me to a doubt of whether inline features are supported in all
browsers, especially IE? Is there such a compatibility issue at all? Is
there any other ways, lists or URLs for me to find out about such
information of browser and OGC SLD compatibility?

I need to resolve this quickly, and thus your help is very much appreciated
here. Thank you.
