Hi All,
Does anyone know if extensions are put into a pool in geoserver so each request gets its own instance of an extension or is the model multiple threads share one instance of an extension?
I am asking in regards to if developers of extensions need to make them thread safe.

Extensions are not “loaded”, we have a simplistic plugin system that makes
the extension jars just become part of GeoServer as if they were a core portion.
Thus, there is no special management, and they need to be thread safe
