A question?
What means that jai is unavailable. Everything seems to be ok . Could that be more efficient (faster) if i installed java advanced imaging?

Hi Hector, sorry for the late reply.

Have you resolved your problem yet? I doubt the issue has anything to do
with whether your data is in postgis vs. shapefile. But what it could be
is that the wrong projection is being used.
You could try asking the mapbuilder list
( mapbuilder-users@lists.sourceforge.net) and see what they think the
issue could be.

Hrm, I believe it should work. Akira, cced, got things functioning in
Japanese, which required some changes to the core, but things should
work out ok now.

Akira, did you manage to get labels on a GetMap request? Any hints for
Youni?

Geoserver the feature name is hard-coded as “topp:CITY_NAME” in
…/mb/lib/model/FeatureCollection.js

Copy that file to CASIR/FeatureCollection.js, change the
“topp:CITY_NAME” to whatever it should be for you. Also look at the
coordSelectXpath, perhaps that needs changing also for your data.
Then add the following line to the <FeatureCollection …> part in your
config.xml:
FeatureCollection.js

It depends... if you're just serving vector data out of Geoserver 1.4.x
it should not make any difference, if you're working against 1.5.x and
you're serving raster data as well you may get a speed increase, yes.
But it seems to me your case is the former no?
