[Geoserver-users] KML improvement and KMZ support for GeoServer WCS

Hi guys,

me and Simone Giannecchini (simboss1) have submitted some code (to be tested) for the WCS branch wich allows GeoServer to serve better KML requests and KMZ too.
Raster layers are rendered too of course.

Enjoy.

Notes:

  • for the KML request to the WMS the format must be “application/vnd.google-earth.kml+XML”
  • for the KMZ request to the WMS the format must be “application/vnd.google-earth.kmz”

Example request:
