Hello I would like to know how I can get KML of a specific orthophoto with high resolution, I have carried out some test lately but there are great distances between the orthophoto served by a wms service and the same area with a kml format.
is there any way to get a high resolution kml?
regards
Marco

Which version of GeoServer are you using?
Unfortunately Google Earth is not telling us how big the screen used to
view the globe is,
but in recent versions (starting with 2.4.x) we increased the size of the
overlay a bit, that might help.
In 2.4.x it's also "configurable" via a system variable, by default it's
2048x2048, if that's not enough
and you want to set it to, for example, 4096, you can add
-Dorg.geoserver.kml.defaultOverlaySize=4096
among the Java virtual machine startup parameters
Cheers
