Hi
Seems that it is not possible to “disable conflict resolution”
for labels of a layer, but to use them as constraints for labels
of another layer with conflict resolution enabled.
Here is our use case :
For inhabited areas, our labels are placed with a home-made
label-placement software.
We should not enable conflictResolution for this layer because
we know the placement is OK (more over, conflict resolution
hides some labels we don’t want to hide because geoserver
overlap calculation is a bit more cautious than ours).
The problem is that once confictResolution has been set to false
for inhabited areas, we found no way to prevent other layers labels
to overlap inhabited areas. For example, our rivers are placed by
GeoServer, with a resolutionConflict set to true and a lower priority
than inhabited areas, but it does not stop rivers to overlap inhabited
areas.
Is this the expected result ?
