Sorry, this is no GeoServer standard URL. If you want to discuss Boundless
OpenGeo suite, you should do
probably contact one of their business representatives 
(this is one of the places where that the OpenGeo suite GeoServer is
different from an official GeoServer
downloaded from geoserver.org, it has its own, custom, preview page).
The standard GeoServer preview does not accept filters either, but adding
them is possible,
not only the code is open but there is an also an open process for anybody
to discuss and promote changes, see here:
