Hi,
are there any plans to implement LayerFeatureConstraints in Geoserver anytime soon? If not - maybe someone has made an implementation/patch of their own? There was a discussion on this subject in the end of 2007 (http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=20071109T095239Z_C23E000B0000%40gbd.denhaag.nl) but it seems to have fizzled out.

Hum, no, there are no plans in the short or medium terms to implement
this functionality since none of the developers or the organisations
sponsoring the geoserver development is using it.
You can have a look in providing a patch to support it, or if you
can't but really do want it, you can fall back on commercial support:
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/Commercial+Support
And oh, yes, if anybody has already a patch ready made, please show up, contributions are always welcomed
