Hi All,
I've been away from the list for a while after switching projects, but
I'm back into geoserver territory.
I noticed a few posts on the JIRA issue tracker about the legend
generation affecting KML output for Google Earth. Has this been
addressed? I'm finding in my own dataset and the topp:states dataset
that generating the legend interrupts the rendering of the KML
file...I get a little over a dozen features before a parsing error in
GE.
Anyone interested digging deeper?
Thanks,
Damian Bradley,

Hi Damian,
I assume you are talking about this issue:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-2286
Which version of geoserver are you using? I just tried with the latest and greatest and could not reproduce with topp:states. Are you running with a vanilla configuration, or one you have modified?

Hey Justin,
I'm running 1.7.4 stock...though my server just suffered an electrical
failure so I won't be able to continue testing until it is replaced.
My issue wasn't quite the same as the one you linked...the network
link wasn't 'broken' but the data stopped loading half way through so
it displayed the first 12 states in the dataset...
Thanks,
Damian

Strange indeed. When you get your server back up and running can you send me the output of the request against the states layer. And the exact request being made. Thanks.
