[Geoserver-users] Loading Tiger data into PostGIS

Hi All,

I am going through your documentation on how to load Tiger data that was at:
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOSDOC/Loading+TIGER+polygons

I cannot find either the tigerpoly.py script nor the recommended

      tigerpolygonformation.zip file

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sean

Eek, that doc is pretty old. TIGER data is now distributed in shapefiles, so the process is a bit easier. You can use shp2pgsql (included with PostGIS) to convert the shapefiles into tables in your database. Please let me know if you need more details.

Thanks,
