Hi List,
I just received a dump of 12 emails from this list all within 20 minutes of each other. The issue is that these emails have time/date stamps going back to up to 17th July.
I’ve had this happen before on this list too. Does this happen to anyone else? Is this an issue with the mailing list or at our end?
(We’re using Gmail, though I can’t attest to whether there are extra filters or not from the standard gmail).
Looking at them, none of them seem to have received a reply, so maybe the list never accepted them until now?
Jonathan

Exactly, I just went through the moderator queue and accepted the non spam
ones
Cheers

Ah Ok. I appreciate this takes your time Andrea, but I suspect the askers probably won’t appreciate a delay of up to four weeks before someone even sees their email (not conducive to community participation and all that). Might it be worth delegating/sharing this task?
Cheers,
Jonathan

It is already shared between three people, but it's a task nobody really
wants to do.
I used to check the queue daily, but now I have too much work to do it
regularly.
Is it something you'd be interested in?
Anyways, when one posts a message without being subscribed a notification
that the message is stuck and
that they should subscribe before posting is sent immediately. I mean, they
could act on it

Sure, I guess I can do that. Can’t promise to check daily but another pair of eyes can’t hurt right?

Jonathan
