I am trying to find an algorithm to calculate the lat,lon increments for every pixel of image, as the lat,lon increments will vary at different points on the earth, I am looking for a projection algorithm that people (goolemap etc) normally use. Can anybody help with this please
Also Geoserver , I am sure uses some kind of projection mechanism (for features added using SRS 4326) to generate maps, does anybody know how geoserver converts bounding box in GetMap request to pixel in the image for features added with SRS 4326
