I'm contemplating migrating from MapServer to Geoserver for a project
that I am working on, but am a little concerned about the amount of
work I have in converting 400+ mapfiles into corresponding GeoServer
configurations. I can see how I can programmatically create the
various info.xml files that define the data sources as I have them
stored in a DB/spreadsheet anyway. But I can see the styles being far
more time consuming!
Has anybody any experience or recommendations for migrating styling
information from mapfiles to SLDs?

Hi

Many thanks in advance
