[Geoserver-users] Migrating GeoServer Layers from Oracle to Postgres

Hi All,

We are in the stages of migrating a significant number of layers tied to
Oracle Spatial tables to postgis 2.1.

As all the layers are set up I would to be able to simply change the
datastore ID in the featuretype.xml of the layer.

Initially this has caused a few issues relating to styles and layer groups.

Is this an easy task? has anybody had any experience doing this?

FYI - we are looking at approx 50 layers
