[Geoserver-users] Need help with TileCahche and Windows 2003

Hi,

I need someone to help me with setting up TileCache on a Windows 2003
machine.

We are using Microsoft Virtual Earth as out mapping client, and are
importing our own map coverage via WMS requests to geoserver, where
microsoft does not have such.

The problem is that the tile generation is pretty slow, when we zoom down to
areas where there is alot of details. This is why i think i need some cache
and probably someone to look at the implementation, and tweek the right
places to get this running smooth.

I´ve set up GeoServer 1.6 and imported all my shapefile, and are able to
view my tiles within the mapping client.

I would like to have a messenger, skype or whatevery text chat with someone
who is familiar with this, and you will be paid on a hour basis. This can
probably be done remote, so no need to travel to Denmark for this  I need
someone to look at this today, so please send me your contactdetails, and i
will get in contact with you right away.

Thanks,
Martin

PS.

First time i have every used an open source product (hardcore MS user :-)),
but i must say that this is absolutely amazing ! Excellent product, and
thanks to all those people who make such a great product. First we tested
using Mapserver, but this was slow, and tiling was very bad.

The person you want to speak with is Arne Kepp, the current GeoWebCache
maintainer. He's going to be online in a couple of hours.
If this is going to be a paid support, Chris Holmes is the one to speak
with (he's Arne boss).
I've cc'ed the both of them, they should be able to contact you back soon.

Cheers
Andrea

Hem, maybe not. I discovered it's "President's day" in USA so no luck,
they probably won't be around till tomorrow.
