Andrea,
Try changing the service to login as a user with admin rights to see if you get access then. I just did that with my 32 bit system and mine started working.

Subject: Re: [Geoserver-users] New Windows installer and 64-bit systems
Hi Andrea. You may be on to something. What flavor of Windows are you using? (XP/Vista/7?) The installer was never tested against 64-bit systems, but I believe it should be possible, although we may need to switch out the wrapper.dll.
Could you file a JIRA issue for this? I'll see what I can do...

Hi all,
I have downloaded and installed the new windows installer. I’m able to start
the service, but I have this error:
HTTP ERROR: 503
SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE
RequestURI=/geoserver
I have opened the log file, and I have this error:
“Unable to load the Wrapper’s native library ‘wrapper.dll’”
I have a 64-bit windows system. Probably it's impossible to use this
installer with it. Am I right?
Thank you,
Andrea
