[Geoserver-users] One more question about templates regarding GetFeatureInfo

Hello to the GeoServer community,

I am trying to modify the visualization of the response at the request GetFeatureInfo in my GeoServer WMS with templates according to the tutorial in GeoServer web page. I want to override the default templates using other ones, so I have created the files “header.ftl”, “footer.ftl” and “content.ftl” that I have placed in the FeatureType directory. But I only managed to change background colours and margins, that is, aspects related to the appearance of the table, being impossible to obtain a result like the one in the example of the tutorial (having a bulleted list appearance) as well as to avoid some attributes (fid), as if my own content file was not working and was being replaced by a default file that I just don’t know where it is.

Some advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

José Miguel

So you are saying that content.ftl is being totally ignored? Interesting... I wonder, can you reproduce this error with another layer that comes with the default geoserver installation and include the templates you are using? That would help us diagnose the issue.
