The Oracle datastore doesn't come up as an option on the new datastore
menu with geoserver 1.7.1.
It does however come up, when I install the older geoserver version
1.6.5
My operating system is Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack
3
I have an Oracle 10G release 2 database running local and several Oracle
9i, 10g and 11g database running remote

Oracle datastore should be on the menu list if you have downloaded and installed also the corresponding Oracle plugin that suits the Geoserver version. Is this the case?
